For this blog I would like to urge you to introduce the idea of re-purposing junk or trash. Finding another use of junk or trash can help our environment greatly and with the more people doing this, it could help lead to a cleaner future. Most people that I know are unaware that an item can be used for something it wasn’t supposed to be used for or that you could change it into something else. Also when people do see some of the items that I have constructed from my junk they become amazed that something like this was possible.
As for way to introducing them to this idea, i would recommend that you show them some of the items that you have made. Hopefully when they see your creation from simple junk they will become enticed and want to know more. If this doesn’t work then you’ll be forced into showing them your very own MacGyver skills that you’ve gained over your own useful creations. With the more people introducing others to this idea, the idea will spread rapidly. I believe that few people consider re-purposing items is because media. They have all of their new products and their ways of convincing the public to buy them.
With you and your friend finding new ways to use items, you will be surprised about the money you will end up saving. Maybe even use that money for that great vacation you have been looking forward to?
